Posiflex’s Award Winning HS2310 All-in-One POS Terminal
The Posiflex HS2310, an ultra-small All-in-One point-of-service terminal with a multi-touch projected capacitive screen, has been recognized for engineering excellence as a winner of the 2014 Red Dot Award for Product Design and the 2013 COMPUTEX Design & Innovation award. This 10†projected capacitive touch screen terminal comes integrated with a 3†thermal printer, encryption-capable magnetic stripe reader, WiFi and optional secondary customer displays.
The HS2310 is 60% smaller (Width 8.8†x Depth 7.3†x Height 15.2â€) than the traditional terminal and printer footprint to allow use of every inch of valuable counter space. Even though this terminal is small, it supports a fast Intel D525 dual core 1.8 GHz processor with 1MB cache and up to 4GB of system memory. The HS2310, just taller than a wine bottle, runs the same software image as the widely-deployed Posiflex XT3215 and KS7215 touch screen terminals for easy network deployment. Seagull Scientific’s BarTender 9.2 End of Support
In the process of making their BarTender software one of the leading label applications, Seagull Scientific is continually updating and improving  features in BarTender. As new versions are released previous ones eventually cannot continue to be supported.Â
As of September 1st, 2014 version 9.2 of BarTender will no loner be supported. It is possible to upgrade to the current 10.1 version of the software with a simple update.

The convenience and improved traceability provided by on-demand printed wristbands, most healthcare providers at all levels are embracing their use. Zebra is an established leader in dedicated wristband printers with the HC100 printer being the ideal solution for applications generating a volume of wristbands on a daily basis.
For applications that are printing much lower volumes Zebra also has several solutions to utilize a standard laser printer in place of a dedicated printer to produce high quality wristbands. Their LaserBand line of wristbands come on sheets that readily fit into a standard printer with some of the same features found on the dedicated HC100 solution.
