Datalogic’s New In-Counter Magellan 9300i and Magellan 9400i scanners

Datalogic has announced the launch of the newest additions to the world renowned Magellan family of in-counter scanners – the Magellan 9300i and Magellan 9400i scanner/scale with 100% full digital imaging capabilities.

The new scanners have digital imagers in all scanning planes to provide seamless reading of 1D and 2D codes without requiring item orientation by the cashier. Datalogic’s patented imaging technology  maximizes ergonomic comfort and throughput for both seated and standing cashiers. The Magellan 9400i is also available with support for Digimarc Barcode digital watermark reading to further enhance ergonomics and checkout speed.

Datalogic’s Magellan 9400i High Volume In-Counter Scannner

9400iThe Datalogic Magellan 9400i scanner is the newest member of the highly successful Magellan family. Along with the Magellan 8400 and the Magellan 9800i it provides the most complete offering of retail checkout in-counter scanners aimed at retailers with very high volume checkouts. The Magellan 9400i family offers multiple configurations including scanners and integrated scanner scales. All models also include the option of having a customer facing reader for interaction with shoppers’ smart phones by scanning digital coupons, loyalty cards, and other phone-based bar codes.

The Magellan 9400i scanner features 1D and 2D label decoding in each plane allowing cashiers to scan products without specific orientation in a more traditional form factor. Datalogic Introduces New 2D Imaging Capable Memor X3 Mobile Computers

Datalogic Raises the Bar in Bar Code Scanning with 2K Series

Datalogic has announced the release of  the New 2K Series, which encompasses the DS2100N and DS2400N barcode scanners. These short range laser solutions deliver multiple onboard connectivity options and compact dimensions for unmatched power, flexibility and cost-effectiveness.

The 2K Series offers onboard PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and Ethernet TCP/IP communications. The PROFINET model features an embedded switch combined with two rotating connector blocks for the most cost effective solution in the market. The DS2100N and DS2400N are purpose built for applications in the automatic warehousing and manufacturing applications such as automated storage and retrieval systems, shop floors, pick modules and facilities requiring multiple scanning devices.

Discontinuation Notice for the Datalogic Falcon X3 Mobile Computer

With the recent launch of the next generation Falcon X3+ mobile computer in August of 2014, it is now time to announce the obsolescence of its predecessor, the highly successful Falcon X3 mobile computer. This will apply to all models of the Falcon X3 along with special versions as well.

Datalogic Introduces the Cobalto CO5300 Presentation Barcode Scanner

cobaltoDatalogic is proud to announce the addition of the Cobalto CO5300 omnidirectional high performance laser scanner to their portfolio of presentation scanners.

The Cobalto scanner is enclosed in a stylish, compact and ergonomic housing. The scanner’s reading window is encircled by a striking blue ‘Ring of Light’, which turns green to visually confirm a good read. Additionally, a high quality polyphonic speaker can be configured to provide a ‘jingle’ or specific sound providing audio confirmation for a good read of a bar code.

An ergonomic top ‘SCAN’ capacitive button activates the single line which, combined with rubber side grips, and a 30° adjustable scan head, allows the scanner to be comfortably used as a handheld reader for scanning larger or bulky items.
