Redbeam Attains Enterprise Mobility Validation for Motorola ET1 Enterprise Tablets

Posted September 5, 2012

RedBeam has announced that their Asset Tracking application has achieved Motorola Enterprise Mobility Validation on the Motorola ET1 Enterprise Tablet.  Up to now, all devices certified for use with RedBeam have been Windows Mobile-based. This is the first Android mobile computer certified by RedBeam, as well as the first tablet device.

“Many customers have been asking for Android, so it’s important that we support it.  There’s no question that Motorola’s World Wide Solution Center team has been instrumental in helping us make that happen,” said Steve Bissonnette, President of RedBeam. “The rigorous testing has helped improve the compatibility of our Android compatible software client, and as a result the solution is bullet proof.”

The recommended configuration is:

ET1N0-7G2V1UUS – Motorola ET1 Enterprise Tablet, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 7in display, 1GB RAM, 4GB flash, 4GB MicroSD CARD
DC1000-1000U – Motorola Single Slot/USB charge desktop cradle for ET1 Enterprise Tablet

RedBeam has developed an Android application package file (APK) to distribute and easily install the demo on your ET1 Enterprise Tablet.
