New Datalogic Gryphon I GM4100 Base Station Detects Counterfeit Bills

Datalogic Gryphon I GM4100The Datalogic Gryphon I GM4100 Base Station is now available in a model with Counterfeit Money/ID Document detection. Both the 433 MHz and 910 MHz models are available with this new and unique capability.

This solution will offer the same features as the standard Gryphon GM4010 Base Station, plus it will provide a simple solution to verify authenticity of Bank Notes and ID Documents, as well as the ability to detect a variety of key identifiers on any currency or document.

  • Electronic detection for counterfeit currency

Using this new feature is very simple: a button located on the base station turns on the UV LEDs. Operators should then hold the item to be verified under the LED lights to ensure that the special fluorescent marks becomes visible. The LEDs are set to switch off automatically after approximately 2 minutes. By pressing the button a second time within 10 seconds will keep the UV LEDs lit for an indefinite period of time. To turn them off, simply press the button again.

BC4010-BK-910-CF is the part number for the new Gryphon I GM4100 base station.
