Datamax-O’Neil Announces H-8308p PCL Thermal Printer

Posted October 29, 2014

Datamax O'Neil H-8308pThe Datamax-O’Neil H-8308p thermal label printer is designed to combine the best features of Datamax-O’Neil’s H-Class and Performance Series thermal-printer models, namely compatibility with the Printer Command Language (PCL) standard for interfacing with enterprise software and databases, media width of 9”/228.6 mm and a print length of 99”/2,515 mm.

The H-8308p can improve operational capabilities in the most demanding industrial label printing applications.

The H-8308p is also highly adaptive and one of the only models that can provide the wide range of data typically found in laser printers—as required by Managed Print Services—but at improved efficiencies, especially when used in high-speed or high-coverage applications. Additionally, Datamax-O’Neil has engineered the H-8308p thermal printer to feature an embedded open-source Linux operating system and HP-compatible language capabilities. The result is a thermal label printer solution that is ideal for a wide range of thermal labels, tags and documents that is extremely easy to integrate, use and maintain, and offers significant energy savings over laser printers.
