It also includes an integrated 600 Mbps LTE Advanced modem with DC-HSPA+ failover and dual-modem capability via the MC400 modem slot for enhanced flexibility and redundancy.

The CradlePoint IBR1700 supports up to 192 connected devices across its simultaneous tri-band WiFi network, with 64 devices on the 2.4 GHz band and 128 devices on the 5 GHz band. This makes it suitable for large deployments in mobile command centers, vehicles, and other demanding environments.

The IBR1700 includes advanced security features such as 802.1x authentication for Ethernet, RADIUS and TACACS+ support, an application-aware firewall, IP filtering, content filtering, MAC address filtering, and zone-based object firewall with host address, port, and MAC address controls. It also supports certificate-based authentication and is NetCloud Perimeter compatible.

The IBR1700 operates in a temperature range from -30°C to 70°C with humidity tolerance of 5% to 95% non-condensing. It accepts DC input power from 9-36 VDC and consumes between 10 mW in sleep mode and up to 24 W during heavy usage, making it suitable for challenging outdoor and mobile environments.

The IBR1700 features five Gigabit Ethernet ports that are LAN/WAN switchable, with one default WAN port for cable, DSL, T1, satellite, or Metro Ethernet connections. This flexible port configuration allows for multiple network connectivity options and redundancy in your deployment.

The IBR1700 supports remote management and real-time monitoring via Cradlepoint NetCloud Manager, which requires a subscription. This enables centralized management of your mobile networking infrastructure across multiple devices and locations.
