WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS
Featuring Bluetooth® wireless technology (GBT models) or narrow band radio communications with Datalogic's STAR Cordless System™ (GM models), the Gryphon 4200 wireless readers provide maximum flexibility to solve any end user application with the best technical solution.
WIRELESS CHARGING
One of the most important technical innovations that the Gryphon 4200 wireless scanners achieve is the battery recharge through an inductive charging system, which enhances the reliability of the entire solution, lowering the total cost of ownership because it eliminates the need for contacts' cleaning and maintenance procedures. The maximum reliability offered by the wireless charging technology means 24/7 activities with no stops for maintenance or repair and top-level operating productivity and performance.
EASY TO USE FOR MAX EFFICIENCY
The Gryphon 4200 wireless scanners utilize Datalogic's Motionix™ to automatically switch into the 'ready-to-read' scanning mode and to activate the distinctive 'soft line viewfinder' which helps the operator to easily target the code to be read.
The Datalogic's exclusive patented 'Green Spot' for good-read feedback directly on the code is ideal under dim lighting conditions or noisy environments.
READY TO BE REGULARLY CLEANED AND DISINFECTED
Most of the working environments now have requirements that scanners need to be regularly cleaned and disinfected. The Gryphon 4200 series exploits Disinfectant-Ready enclosures, designed to withstand regular daily cleaning with harsh disinfectant solutions commonly used in a healthcare environment.

What is the reading range of the Datalogic GM4200-BK-910-WLC barcode scanner?
The Gryphon GM4200 features excellent reading performance across multiple barcode types. For standard Code 39 barcodes at 10 mils, the scanner reads from 1.0 to 30.0 cm (0.4 to 11.8 inches), while EAN-13 codes at 13 mils can be read from 1.5 to 40.0 cm (0.6 to 15.7 inches). This near-to-far reading capability makes it ideal for general purpose warehouse and retail applications where barcode distances vary.
Does the Datalogic GM4200 work wirelessly, and what is the battery life?
Yes, the GM4200-BK-910-WLC is a cordless scanner featuring Datalogic's STAR Cordless System with 910 MHz narrow band radio communications for increased mobility and flexibility in the workplace. The scanner is equipped with a long-lasting Lithium-Ion battery that delivers approximately 50,000 scans per charge, allowing unlimited mobility and reliable data collection even when out of range from the base station with Batch Mode capability.
