The Baracoda ToughRunner Series rugged scanner range is a light and easy to use cordless Bluetooth (Class 1 up to 100m) scanner, available with either a CMOS, Laser or Long Range Laser scan engine. With a battery life capable of over 80,000 scans, and a full battery charge time of 3 hours, this unit is ideally suited to industrial logistics and warehouse applications. The ToughRunner Series features only one button to switch on, connect and scan barcodes, making use quick. The ToughRunner Series is available with either IP54 or IP65 rating and is easy to integrate - simply plug in the USB or Serial Plug and Scan dongle into the host and read the selected pairing barcode.

The ToughRunners barcode scanner is easy to use. Just press the trigger in order to switch on the scanner and simply press it again to scan a barcode. The color of the LED indicates the status of the device. A beep and LED indicate the status of the scanner as "Good Read", "Connected". No Data Loss Mode function stores the last several scans and is configurable by the user. Barcodes are transmitted in real time to the remote host devices/terminals using Bluetooth wireless technology.
