Socket's CF RFID Reader Scan Card 6P adds both barcode scanning and high frequency RFID read/write capabilities to your Pocket PC-based mobile data collection application. This unique dual-function device scans all common linear barcodes, and reads and writes to all ISO 15693 and many proprietary 13.56 MHz RFID tags. CF RFID Reader Scan Card 6P utilizes a powerful Class 2 laser for more demanding barcode scanning environments, such as outdoor or long distance applications. CF RFID Reader Scan Card 6P is supported by SocketScan Keyboard wedge software, which sends the RFID tag ID, data from selected memory blocks or both to any Windows application in the form of virtual keystrokes. None of these functions require custom programming. The SocketScan SDK is also available for developers who wish to embed control of the RFID Reader read/write functionality into their applications. The device draws its power from the host Pocket PC.
