The VersaKey 230 guarantees a minimum of 1,000,000 card swipes and 20,000,000 key operations. In addition, it has 3 year warranty.The VersaKey 230 decodes data characters from the individual tracks. Any credit, debit, loyalty, or any other ISO 7811 compliant card can be reliably read. The reader output is versatile; its output is programmable to provide the card data characters in application friendly formats using the 'MagStripe Configuration Utility' software. The utility programs the reader to edit and format data, such as dividing, rearranging, and parsing the magnetic stripe data. Many Keyboard language options are available providing the appropriate key positions and key-top characters.
