How does the K-12 version differ from the standard Workplace license?
The Verkada Workplace K-12 license (LIC-WP-5Y-CAP-K) is specifically optimized for educational environments, including schools and K-12 facilities, with features and pricing tailored to institutional needs. Contact us today to discuss which license tier best fits your facility's surveillance needs.
What does 'capacity increase' mean in this Verkada license?
Capacity increase in the Verkada LIC-WP-5Y-CAP-K refers to the ability to expand the number of cameras and devices your system can monitor and manage beyond your initial deployment. This license component allows you to add additional camera feeds, storage, and users to your Verkada Workplace platform without requiring a completely new license. It's ideal for growing security operations that need to scale their surveillance infrastructure over the 5-year term.
Is this a new license or a renewal, and what's the difference?
The LIC-WP-5Y-CAP-K is a new capacity increase license, distinct from renewal licenses like the LIC-WP-5Y-RNW-K which extend existing deployments. A capacity increase license adds additional monitoring capability to your current Verkada system, while a renewal maintains your existing license terms. We offer both options available from us—choose capacity increase if you're expanding your camera network, or renewal if you're extending coverage on existing cameras.
What are the available term options for Verkada Workplace K-12 licenses?
