Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Verkada LIC-TX-1Y-RNW license and what does it cover?
The Verkada LIC-TX-1Y-RNW is a 1-year renewal license for the Verkada Desk Station, which is the software platform that manages and monitors your Verkada surveillance cameras. This renewal license extends your access to the Desk Station software for an additional year, ensuring continuous management of your camera fleet and recorded footage. We offer this license renewal to help you maintain uninterrupted surveillance operations without service gaps.
Is this license a renewal or a new license?
The LIC-TX-1Y-RNW is specifically a renewal license, as indicated by the 'RNW' designation in the model number. This means it's designed to extend an existing Verkada Desk Station license for one additional year rather than serve as an initial license purchase. If you need a new license for the first time, contact us today and our team can help you identify the appropriate initial license option.
What surveillance systems is the Verkada Desk Station software compatible with?
The Verkada Desk Station software is designed specifically for Verkada camera systems and surveillance infrastructure. This software provides centralized management, live viewing, and recording access for your Verkada CCTV cameras across multiple locations. We stock the full range of Verkada software licenses and cameras, so we can help you build a complete integrated surveillance solution.
Can I use the Desk Station software to manage multiple camera locations?
Yes, the Verkada Desk Station is designed as a centralized management platform that allows you to monitor and control Verkada cameras across multiple locations from a single interface. This makes it ideal for organizations with distributed facilities, warehouses, or multi-site operations that need unified surveillance oversight. Visit barcodesinc.com or contact us today to discuss your multi-location surveillance requirements.
How do I know if I need to renew my Verkada Desk Station license?
You should renew your Verkada Desk Station license before your current license expires to maintain continuous access to the software platform and your surveillance footage. Verkada typically sends renewal notifications as your license expiration date approaches, and we recommend planning your renewal in advance to avoid service interruptions. Contact us today to check your current license status and arrange a timely renewal.
What happens if my Verkada Desk Station license expires?
If your Verkada Desk Station license expires, you will lose access to the software management platform, which means you cannot view live feeds, access recorded footage, or manage your camera settings through the Desk Station interface. Your cameras will continue to record locally, but remote management and cloud-based access will be unavailable until you renew your license. We offer the LIC-TX-1Y-RNW renewal license to restore full functionality—visit barcodesinc.com to renew your license before expiration.
