The Verkada LIC-BX-CEL-3Y-CAP is a 3-year cellular backup license that provides continuous connectivity for Verkada surveillance cameras in the US and Canada. This license enables your BP32 or ACC-CEL-LTE-2 equipped cameras to maintain video transmission and alerting capabilities even when primary network connections fail. Which Verkada cameras are compatible with this cellular backup license?
This 3-year cellular backup license is compatible with Verkada cameras equipped with either the BP32 battery backup module or the ACC-CEL-LTE-2 cellular accessory. The license activates cellular connectivity on these devices, allowing them to transmit alerts and video feeds through LTE networks when your primary internet connection is unavailable. Contact us today to verify compatibility with your specific camera models.
Is this cellular backup license available outside the US and Canada?
No, the Verkada LIC-BX-CEL-3Y-CAP cellular backup license is designed exclusively for use in the United States and Canada. If you require cellular backup solutions for international deployments, we recommend contacting our team to discuss alternative connectivity options available in your region.
What happens when the 3-year license term expires?
When your 3-year cellular backup license expires, your cameras will lose access to cellular connectivity and will rely solely on your primary network connection for video transmission and alerts. You can renew the license at any time to restore cellular backup capabilities. Visit barcodesinc.com or contact us today to discuss renewal options and ensure uninterrupted backup connectivity.
How does cellular backup improve security camera reliability?
Cellular backup provides a redundant connection path that keeps your surveillance system operational during internet outages, network failures, or ISP disruptions. This ensures continuous video recording, live monitoring access, and alarm notifications reach your security team without interruption. For warehouse and logistics operations where security monitoring is critical, this redundancy significantly reduces vulnerability windows.
Can I upgrade or add cellular backup to existing Verkada cameras?
Yes, you can add cellular backup capability to compatible Verkada cameras by purchasing the required hardware accessory (BP32 or ACC-CEL-LTE-2) along with this 3-year license. The license activates the cellular service on your equipped cameras for the full 3-year term. We offer both hardware and licensing solutions—visit barcodesinc.com to find the complete setup for your surveillance needs.
