Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Verkada LIC-BB-1Y-RNW license and what does it cover?
The Verkada LIC-BB-1Y-RNW is a 1-year renewal license for Verkada Basic Alarms (Classic Alarms), providing continuous surveillance software functionality and alarm management capabilities. This renewal license ensures your existing Verkada camera system maintains active monitoring and alert features throughout the subscription period. We offer this license as a straightforward way to extend your Verkada software protection without interruption.
Is this a renewal license or a new license?
The LIC-BB-1Y-RNW is specifically a renewal license, as indicated by the 'RNW' designation in the model number. This means it's designed to extend an existing Verkada Basic Alarms subscription for an additional year rather than activate a new system. If you need a new license instead of a renewal, contact us today and our team can help you identify the correct product.
What Verkada camera systems are compatible with this Basic Alarms license?
The Verkada Basic Alarms license is compatible with Verkada's standard camera lineup, including their fixed and pan-tilt-zoom models. This renewal license maintains compatibility with your existing Verkada surveillance infrastructure without requiring hardware changes. For specific compatibility with your camera models, contact us today and we can verify your system configuration.
How does the Verkada Basic Alarms license differ from other Verkada software tiers?
Verkada's Basic Alarms tier provides essential alarm detection and notification features for surveillance monitoring, positioned as their entry-level software offering. Higher-tier Verkada licenses may include advanced analytics, extended retention, or enhanced integration capabilities beyond basic alarm functionality. We offer various Verkada licensing options to match different security requirements and budgets—visit barcodesinc.com or contact us today to compare options for your needs.
Can I purchase this license directly from Verkada, or do I need a reseller?
Verkada licenses are available through authorized resellers like us at Barcodes Inc, ensuring you receive proper support and integration assistance. We handle the licensing activation and can provide guidance on deployment and management of your Verkada surveillance system. Contact us today to purchase your renewal license and get expert support from our team.
What happens when my Verkada Basic Alarms license expires?
When your license expires, your Verkada camera system will lose active alarm monitoring and alert functionality, though recorded footage may remain accessible depending on your storage configuration. Renewing your license promptly—like with the LIC-BB-1Y-RNW—ensures continuous security monitoring without service interruption. We recommend planning your renewal in advance; contact us today to set up your license renewal before expiration.
