When the hard drive on your computer is not large enough to hold your entire video game library, the U457-1M2-NVME-L helps you add external storage and access files stashed on NVMe drives. This dependable gaming enclosure adapter allows you to connect an M.2 NVMe (non-volatile memory express) or SATA SSD (solid state drive) to your computer's USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port.

Transfers Data at Fast USB 3.2 Gen 2 Speeds with UASP Support

This adapter supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps to give you faster data storage, retrieval and backup capacity. It reads data up to 70 percent faster and writes up to 40 percent faster when connected to a UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) host controller. The enclosure is backward compatible with previous USB generations, allowing you to use it with older equipment. It works with Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.

The U457-1M2-NVME-L is compatible with a wide range of external storage drives and sizes, including 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 SSD. It is compatible with M-Key, B+M Key (SATA) and B+M Key (NVMe) SSD types. A blue LED on the front panel indicates data is transferring properly.

Just Plug and Play with No Software or Power Supply Required

The enclosure works right out of the box. Simply open the enclosure with the included mini screwdriver, insert your M.2 NVME or SATA SSD drive (not included), and plug the enclosure into the host computer's USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port with the included USB-C cable. Bright LEDs illuminate as soon as the device is connected. No software, drivers or external power supply is required.
