Comments about ThingMagic USB-5EC-DEVKIT:

Use this product to track rented garments. Tech guy was easily able to integrate scan data into our backend system so we can manage our inventory. However the scanners are not reliable. Have been using 3 different scanners the last year and each has broken several times - scanner wouldn't connect to any programs (even the default program that comes with the scanner), or scanner wouldn't read any tags. Have gone back and forth with ThingMagic for months to "repair" the readers, including sending them back to MA to be set back to the default settings. Still having issues. Not worth the pain if regular use is critical to your business.
