rf IDEAS WAVE ID® Plus Surface Mount Access Control Reader Model Overview
The rf IDEAS WAVE ID® Plus Surface Mount is a programmable dual-frequency card reader that combines proximity and contactless credential technologies in a versatile mounted design. It reads 125/132 kHz proximity credentials and 13.56 MHz contactless smart cards while accommodating up to four card configurations. Available with USB, USB Virtual COM, RS-232 and Ethernet interfaces, the reader supports Keystroke and rf IDEAS SDK operating modes for integration with a variety of systems. Its flexible mounting design is ideal for kiosks, point-of-sale systems, time and attendance, meeting registration and other authentication applications across enterprise, healthcare, education, government and industrial environments.
