Guest I am looking for a bar code scanner that is wireless that just pulls the driver's license number from the bar code on the back of a driver's license for all states that cane be integrated with our website. Our members driver's licence is their membership card and we need to be able to scan and verify if they are current members.

The bar code on a drivers license is a PDF417 type and requires an imager to read properly. For a cordless unit I would suggest the Honeywell Xenon 1902 as it offers an add-on software called EasyDL which will help parse the drivers license data. With this combination you can set what sequence you want the data from the license to be transmitted and it will handle all the differences between each state. This way you will always get the correct data you need from every scan.
