Guest We have a very small library at this facility. I am interested in tracking our books and instituting a bar code system on all of them. We have about 3000 – 4000 books.

In the case of libraries we will want to start with a tracking software that manages where the book is and who it may be checked-out to. The RedBeam Check-In/Check-Out software is an excellent match for this type of application and is very easy to use. This software resides on a desktop PC and we can pair it with a Motorola LS2208 to scan the bar codes into the system and a Zebra GK420t printer to create labels for all the books. With this system you will be able to check books out/in to individuals and always see when they are due back and even implement over due fees if needed.
