Barcodes,Inc.

Guest I'm looking to get our company to manage inventory with bar code scanning. The current thinking is that this is far too expensive, but looking on your site there seem like a lot of reasonable possibilities. What I'm looking for is the ability to scan incoming parts and, via keypad or scan, enter a location for those parts. If possible I'd like that information to tie into MFG-Pro. If that is not feasible, I'd want it to be stored in an Access database.

Your MFG-Pro system has the means to add on the feature of inventory tracking by location so all you would really need is a proper mobile device to mange this. Depending on the degree of ruggedness you will need there are a wide range of mobile computer to choose from. On the more basic side you can work with the Honeywell Dolphin 6500 and if a very rugged device is needed I would suggest the Motorola MC9500 series. We can help integrate the unit with you current software as well.
