Guest We generate bar codes ourselves we need a bar code reader to be able to let us know if the bar code scanned is one of ours. Basically if a person’s receipt has our bar code then when scanned it is authenticated and then they can use our service.

A scanner itself will simply output the data in the code and transmit this to your PC. On the PC you will have to have some kind of application that verifies the code is correct. A unit like the Motorola LS2208 is an excellent choice for reading all standard linear codes and we can help in developing a customized verification application if needed.
