 Guest We run a stringed instrument store and need to gain control over our inventory and be able to charge customers without having to write out a receipt each time. Much like it is done in at grocery stores for instance. We would need something on the order of a cash register and scanner that can print out the receipt, and at the same time remove the product from the inventory.

In your case I would suggest a basic POS system like our BCI Basic Point of Sale System. This kit includes everything you will need to run a simple POS for order transactions and also track your inventory. The Microsoft POS software is easy to set-up and manage any kind of product and creates receipts with the included Star printer. A scanner is also included to speed up the check-out process and ensure less mistakes are made.
