Guest We currently have a POS Unify system for our store. It is using a Progress database program (4GL)and a POS application called Unify for all our inventory and POS services. We have one server PC and one client system for inputting our inventory as it is received. We would like to replace this entire system as we are displeased with the current vendor. Our main concern is our existing data and how we can export the entire database for inputting to the new system. We will need one POS server, a couple of additional registers and cash drawer and an inventory entry system. We currently use a cognitive bar code printer, cash drawer, bar code scanner, and one client system for inputting all receivables and printing bar codes. Would you have a system that we could migrate to and input our current database data?

We have several POS software options that would be able to import your existing database of information and I would suggest Microsoft RMS. The Microsoft application is a very robust and complete POS solution and as long as an export is possible with your current system we can migrate the data over to make set-up very simple. As RMS is very open to any hardware the existing equipment you have will readily work and we can pair up additional terminals and scanners as needed.
