Guest I am looking for a bar code scanner to be used at trade shows to scan the badges of individuals/companies that stop by our booth so we can capture their contact information.

Many trade show applications utilize a 2D bar code as opposed to the usual linear codes you find on retail products. In this case I would suggest the Honeywell Xenon 1900 scanner as it easily connects to a laptop or PC via USB and will work with any text based application. When you scan a code the data will be inputted into whatever application you currently have open. If you need a means to be independent of a PC we can go with a mobile computer like the Honeywell Dolphin 6100.
