Guest I am interested in a simple wireless scanner that could scan a name and then attach that name to a choice of 3-6 (customized) options. Obviously name and options would be in bar code form. The data would need to be downloaded to a computer.

For an easy to use batch scanner that will store data which can then be downloaded later I would suggest the Honeywell SP5500. This unit will allow you to collect multiple fields of information like the name and then any other options you need. All this data is stored in the units memory to be later downloaded as a basic text file to your PC.
