Guest Our office is thinking about getting some kind of swipe system in place for managing staff time. How does the information needed get onto a card?

With a time and attendance application the ID card itself usual has a bar code that has an embedded number unique to that employee. Whenever they scan the card the system will track this as a specific individual and no sensitive information is on the card itself for security purposes. We have several means to set-up a tracking system with something a simple as a regular PC and a hands free scanner like the LS9208i or a self standing solution like the Unitech TASHI.
