We currently tag each item in our building and write down the information on paper then transfer that information into a Access database. We are looking to eliminate this process and automate it if possible? Scan a bar code, enter information into the handheld device which will import this information into an Access database or database in general.

We can definitely help automate your inventory process and have a convenient bundle called the BCI Basic Inventory Control kit. This bundle includes a Honeywell Dolphin 6100 mobile computer and the Wasp Inventory Control software to manage your inventory. The Wasp software can output information to import into Access but you could also move everything into the Wasp system for easier management.
