Guest We have to trace items sold by a store in real time so we want to have a bar code reader on the desk of the store and pass item to trace it.
We are searching a bar code reader that has a LAN interface to connect it to our database.

Normally, bar code scanner are not available with LAN interfaces as they would connect to a PC via USB and feed the scanned data into an application running on the PC. The Motorola LS2208 is an excellent scanner for this use and the PC software you are running could then transmit data throughout your network. There is however an 802.11b gun scanner that can wirelessly transmit data on your network called the Unitech MS860. This unit is a bit more expensive and is more involved in setting it up but would transmit directly onto your network.
