The Point Mobile PM5 is a tough scanner that can handle a variety of operating conditions. Over the operational temperature range, it can withstand numerous drops to concrete from 1.8m/6 ft. and has IP65 water/dust resistance. Despite its compact size, the Point Mobile PM5 is equipped with power-efficient Bluetooth v4.2 that supports BLE and can run for up to 8 hours. This also allows data to be sent quickly and without delay to Point Mobile's rugged computing devices. The ultra-slim 2D imager within the Point Mobile PM5 can withstand motion speeds of up to 6.0 m/s, allowing it to capture fast-moving objects with ease. You may also scan while moving your hands, allowing you to continue working without interruption.
