An intuitive and effortless scanning experience is the target of the 9500 family. It combines omnidirectional reading capabilities, which is typical in all area imaging scanners, with outstanding optical characteristics.<\/p>\n

In addition, the PowerScan PD9500 area imager includes Datalogic\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s latest decoding software that guarantees snappy reading in any condition and environment. The result is a scanner with exceptional performances in terms of snappiness and depth-of-field on any kind of bar code, regardless of the orientation, from contact to over 1.0 m \/ 3.3 ft, depending on the bar code resolution.<\/p>\n

Like the previous PowerScan family, the new 9500 imagers offer the 3GL (Three Green Lights) technology, a combination of Datalogic\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s patented \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcGreen Spot\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 technology and dual \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcgood read\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 LED\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s. The 3GLtechnology provides a clear visual indication for a successful read no matter how noisy the environment is or where the code is located (in hand, on the shelf or on the floor).<\/p>\n

User comfort is guaranteed because of the scanner ergonomics, consisting of the handle shape, a well-balanced weight and the intuitive aiming system, allowing the highest first-pass reading rate while reducing unnatural wrist movement or rotation which can tire the user during long shifts.
