SELF CHECK-IN STATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Customers encounter the technology immediately\u00c2\u00a0upon arriving at a Zoom Room training center. An\u00c2\u00a0iPad and CHS barcode scanner are set up at the front\u00c2\u00a0desk as an easy-to-use self check-in station. Customers\u00c2\u00a0simply scan a barcode on their Zoom Room membership card or dog collar tag to quickly check into Puppy\u00c2\u00a0Preschool, a group agility class or even Doggy Disco\u00c2\u00a0social event.<\/p>\n

Providing a self check-in kiosk enables staff to focus\u00c2\u00a0more time on assisting customers. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Because dog owners can handle check-in for classes or other events\u00c2\u00a0themselves, employees are free to answer questions,\u00c2\u00a0ring up sales and interact with dogs,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said Mark Van\u00c2\u00a0Wye, COO of Zoom Room.<\/p>\n

The CHS Series 7 barcode scanner sends data to the\u00c2\u00a0iPad via a wireless Bluetooth\u00c2\u00a0connection. Running on\u00c2\u00a0the iPad is a custom web application that not only enables customers to check in, but also\u00c2\u00a0look up class schedules, enroll in courses or reserve \u00c2\u00a0facilities for a pet\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s birthday party, adoption anniversary or other event \u00e2\u20ac\u201d all electronically without paper.<\/p>\n
