Microsoft RMS offers small and mid-market retailers a complete point-of-sale (POS) solution that can be adapted to meet unique retail requirements.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Star Micronics has always played an innovative role in the printer industry. Our participation with Microsoft RMS is the most recent example of that role,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said Michael Hanson, vice president of Star Micronics America. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153It is a truly innovative platform that brings a number of advantages to POS systems; including simplifying the setup, deployment and management for small to mid-size businesses. We believe Star\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s line of receipt printers is an ideal complement to RMS as the printers bring additional benefits to point of sale applications.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The HSP7000 series has been developed as a value solution for markets that utilize the three most essential functions of a multifunction printer:<br \/>\n&#8211; Read the check\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s MICR reliably<br \/>\n&#8211; Endorse checks without jams<br \/>\n&#8211; Print a receipt as fast as possible<\/p>\n<p>The HSP7000 combines key features from Star\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s celebrated range of products, including the speed and reliability of the market leading <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barcodesinc.com\/star\/tsp700-series.htm\">TSP700 Series<\/a>, and the engine from the high speed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barcodesinc.com\/star\/sp700-series.htm\">SP700<\/a> dot matrix printer.<\/p>\n<p>The HSP7000 comes standard with a three (3) year limited warranty. Star also offers customers two (2) extended warranties: Extend-A-Star and Swap-A-Star. The Extend-A-Star program further extends Star\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s standard service program with a bumper-to-bumper warranty and prompt printer repairs for United States and Canadian customers. The Swap-A-Star service program replaces a malfunctioning printer by the next business day and is available for customers in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>The HSP7000 is the lasest Star Micronics product to be certified by Microsoft RMS.
