The availability of iOS and Android drivers on Star Micronics printers will give solution providers the added flexibility to satisfy requests for wireless <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barcodesinc.com\/cats\/pos-software\/\">POS software<\/a> that may be used to keep up with the trends and leverage the power of these popular hand-held units.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Naasz notes that several of Star Micronics&#8217; solution provider partners have already jumped on this bandwagon. Many of Star partners have taken full advantage of the powerful technology built into the iPad, iPod Touch, and iPhone and Android devices, connecting to the Internet via high-speed 802.11n Wi-Fi. POS and kitchen printing\u00e2\u20ac\u201dalong with other functions\u00e2\u20ac\u201dcan be initiated directly from any of these hand-held devices, over Wi-Fi or through &#8220;cloud&#8221; computing.
