Datamax-O’Neil<\/a>, part of Dover Corporation’s Product Identification Platform and global provider of label and receipt printing<\/a> solutions, introduces a new generation of its MP Compact printer family, now designated the MP Compact4 Mark II<\/strong> and the MP Compact4 Mobile Mark II<\/strong>. The new models, which will be available in April, incorporate the following features:<\/p>\n

* Datamax-O’Neil’s DPL printer language
\n* Optional W-LAN 802.11 B\/G with WPA2 security protocol
\n* IntelliSEAQ\u00e2\u201e\u00a2 printhead which provides analytics and reporting capabilities
\n* Expanded emulation capabilities
\n* \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Top of Form\u00e2\u20ac\u009d multi-function sensor<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u0153The MP Compact4 Mark II printers have an incredibly small footprint which allows them to be used in applications where space is limited,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said Umesh Cooduvalli, senior product manager for Datamax-O’Neil. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Their compact size takes up less than half the space of a traditional desktop label printer but with the same duty cycle and strength.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n

The rugged printers are constructed on a solid cast metal frame and protected with metal die cast covers. The printer is ideal at the front desk of a hospital or in the box office of a movie theatre.<\/p>\n

The Compact4 Mobile Mark II is designed for installation on forklift trucks and mobile stations. It can operate from a connection to a forklift’s battery. Its vibration-proof design makes it the perfect choice for warehousing logistics.<\/p>\n
