{"id":12379,"date":"2016-02-01T11:06:31","date_gmt":"2016-02-01T17:06:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.barcodesinc.com\/news\/?p=12379"},"modified":"2016-02-01T11:06:31","modified_gmt":"2016-02-01T17:06:31","slug":"datalogic-discontinues-the-quickscan-qd2110-and-qd2130","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.barcodesinc.com\/news\/datalogic-discontinues-the-quickscan-qd2110-and-qd2130\/","title":{"rendered":"Datalogic Discontinues the QuickScan QD2110 and QD2130"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.barcodesinc.com\/images\/models\/lg\/Datalogic\/qd2100.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"334\" height=\"221\" align=\"right\" \/>With the introduction of advanced technology in recent new QuickScan product launches, Datalogic has announced the obsolescence of their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barcodesinc.com\/datalogic\/qd2100.htm\">QuickScan QD2100 scanner series<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To replace this older model, Datalogic highly recommends migrating customers to the QuickScan QD2131 linear imagers.\u00c2\u00a0Datalogic will be able to deliver a better price performance product to meet customer needs with the newer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barcodesinc.com\/datalogic\/qd2131.htm\">QD2131 imager,<\/a> just launched\u00c2\u00a0in September of last\u00c2\u00a0year.<\/p>\n<p>The newer QuickScan QD2131 linear imager has improvements in the following features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Longer Depth of Field (DOF)<\/li>\n<li>Wider Field of View (FOV)<\/li>\n<li>Longer, sharper and brighter scan line<\/li>\n<li>Better look and feel (same as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barcodesinc.com\/datalogic\/qd2400.htm\">QuickScan 2D QD2400<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Shared peripherals (accessories) with the QuickScan 2D QD2400 product family<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more-->Datalogic believes that most of the current QuickScan Desk QD21X0 customers should be able to migrate into this new QuickScan Desk platform, with the exception of customers who require the Legacy IBM Port 9\/5 interface options. The new QD2131 product will not have support for this interface.
