pcAmerica  has added new tablet-ready versions of its award-winning point of sale software solutions, Cash Register Express (CRE) and Restaurant Pro Express (RPE), to its product lineup.

CRE and RPE have been optimized for tablets and the software is compatible with many pieces of tablet hardware, including the HP Elitepad. As the tablets are running Windows 8, a standard Microsoft operating system, the tablet editions of the POS software still support a full peripheral set including pole displays, weight scales and pin pads.
