Axicon Launches New 15000 Linear & 2D Barcode Verifier
Axicon has announced the launch of a new 1D/2D barcode verifier. The 15000 verifier has been specifically designed to verify both linear and 2D barcodes.
The 15000 is a camera based verifier which is powered solely from a USB port. Its typical application includes retail point of sale barcodes like UPC/EAN and also 2D barcodes such as Datamatrix, QR etc. The 15000 verifier meets the applicable ISO/ANSI/GS1 verification standards.
Axicon Introduces 15000 Series Barcode Verifier for Linear & 2D Barcodes
The Axicon 15000 barcode verifier has been specifically designed to read both linear and 2D barcodes (whether matrix or stacked). The 15000 can verify linear barcodes up to a maximum length of 52mm (2.0”) including Quiet Zones, and 2D barcodes should have a maximum size of 52mm x 31mm (2.0” x 1.25”) including quiet zones. The system consists of a state of the art array imaging camera and application software.
Axicon’s development program means that not only will your verifier always meet the latest ISO/ ANSI standard, but also a wide range of application standards. An extensive array of additional reporting tools is also provided with every verifier.
The Axicon 15000 is powered solely from the USB2 port of a computer – no additional power is required. This means that the Axicon 15000 is highly portable when used in conjunction with a laptop computer.
The Axicon 15000 is well suited for verifying smaller barcodes including retail point of sale (consumer unit) barcodes and also 2D barcodes such as Datamatrix, QR Code etc.
