Introducing the RS-2006 from Opticon

rs-2006The RS-2006 is one of the smallest and lightest ring scanners on the market, coming in at 1.5 ounces including the battery, holder, and strap. Due to its small and lightweight design, the RS-2006 makes for a comfortable ring scanner all the while allowing your workforce to quickly and safely scan barcodes. The RS-2006 Bluetooth Ring Scanner enables transportation, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, and retail organizations to easily and quickly integrate hands-free barcode scanning into various applications including receiving, picking, put-away, loading, sorting, replenishment, inventory management, parts tracking, and shipping.

Opticon’s new scanner is designed for the user to either be left-handed or right-handed. The RS-2006 also consists of a modified Opticon OPN-2006 Bluetooth barcode scanner integrated into an ergonomic holder that features an adjustable finger strap. The OPN-2006 can always be disconnected from the strap and be used as a stand-alone if the need arises.

Opticon’s New H-27 Android Mobile Computer

h27With the functionality of a PDA and the appearance of a smartphone, the new Opticon H-27 is particularly suitable for mobile workers who need the combination of auto-ID and business-critical information to carry out their work in a highly efficient way.

The device comes with an integrated 1D barcode reader or 2D imager and supports a variety of linear barcode symbologies, 2D and stacked codes. Opticon presents new H22 with excellent reading and touch screen performance

The H22 uses the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5.3 platform, providing the latest technology for mobile applications. Users will be able to use functions and enterprise applications at any time – regardless of the location. The H22 is available with either an alpha-numeric layout or a complete QWERTY keypad.

The sharp 3.7” color display with touch screen is among the largest screens available for mobile terminals. It provides users with an extremely user friendly interface for any field worker application. The 3.2 megapixel color camera with auto focus and flash light supports visual information to any issue. Besides linear barcodes, the H22-2D model also reads 2D and stacked codes, both from traditional media (labels etc.) as well as from the screens of other mobile devices.

Opticon Announces H21 Windows Mobile Smartphone with Barcode Scanning

The Opticon H21 is a ruggedized Windows Mobile 6.5 Smartphone with 3.5G network speed along with Assisted GPS, 1D and 2D barcode scanning, a 3.5 mega pixel camera and a full QWERTY keypad. It comes pre-loaded with AirWatch hosted device management and carries a two year manufacturer’s warranty. Service plans for no-fault Hotswap and Opticon Total Care (guaranteed turn-around time on repair) can be purchased beyond the standard warranty.
