Zebra’s Desktop Printers Are Now All Energy Star Certified
Zebra has been working with third-party laboratories certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to earn ENERGY STAR certification for all of its desktop printers. ENERGY STAR certification is awarded to printers that meet the Energy Consumption criteria specified by the EPA. This translates into approximately 10 percent less power consumption than a standard product and provides true cost savings for the end user. ENERGY STAR certification also means that Zebra printers are better for the environment. Every Zebra Desktop printer shipped is ENERGY STAR certified, and a large number of Zebra’s industrial, card and kiosk printers as well as the chargers used with our mobile printers are also certified.

Heckler Releases The New WindFall C Point-of-Sale iPad Stand
Heckler has announced the release of its WindFall C, a secure point-of-sale iPad stand designed to be compatible with PayPal Here and virtually every card reader available today.
The WindFall C is a slight variation on the original Heckler Designed-WindFall, previously only compatible with certain readers. Star’s New SM-T400i Mobile Receipt Printer Compatible with iOS
Star Micronics has announced the debut of its SM-T400i and SM-T404i to their “i” Series of printers. As the widest format portable Bluetooth printer in Star’s “i” Series, the SM-T400i and SM-T404i are rugged four inch (112mm) portable Bluetooth receipt printers with a wide 104mm printable area, ideal for data filled service reports, delivery notes or law enforcement citations. The Zebra QL420 Plus Discontinuance Notice
Zebra has announced the discontinuance of the QL 420 Plus mobile label printer. The replacement for this printer is the QLn420. The QL 420 Plus product will continue to be available through Zebra distributors until November 22, 2013, or possibly longer based upon the distributor’s available inventory. Service, parts and support will continue to be available for approximately three years from the last date of shipment (until February 22, 2017).
This is also a good time to switch to the new QLn420 mobile label printer. Remember, the new QLn420 provides all the benefits of the QL 420 Plus and more, in a smaller size!
