CognitiveTPG Announces Their New A799II Receipt Printer

CognitiveTPG has announced an addition to its line of POS Receipt Printers, the A799II. The A799II, which is being demonstrated at the National Retail Federation Big Show this week in New York City, will be available to the general market in Q2 2014.

Cognex Software Update Expands Options for DataMan Readers

Cognex announced its DataMan 5.2 software release with expanded tuning and scripting capability as well as a new test mode for its popular DataMan 300 and 503 series of barcode readers. The new software significantly increases read rates by decoding lower resolution 1-D codes and extending intelligent tuning capabilities to all symbologies, including Aztec, MaxiCode and PDF417.
