The NCR RealPOS 7167 also features check imaging, which enables you to implement the latest check processing methods Electronic Check Conversion (ECC) or Check Truncation to reduce your check handling costs and provide you with faster access to funds. With traditional ECC methods, only the MICR line is used to complete the transaction. In the event of a non-sufficient funds (NSF) transaction, the check image from the NCR RealPOS 7167 printer provides the necessary customer information to pursue NSF collection.
