MultiTech MultiModem CDMA Data Networking Model Overview
MultiTech's MultiModem CDMA is an external data/fax/voice wireless modem with mobile originated short message service (SMS) and mobile-terminated SMS support. It offers standards-based multi-band CDMA2000 1xRTT performance and is based on industry-standard open interfaces. With packet data speeds up to 153K bps, this wireless modem is targeted at applications that periodically need to send or receive data over a wireless network. The featured Circuit-Switched Data (CSD) connections support speeds up to 14.4Kbps as well as Class 2.0 Group 3 fax.
