The compact, agile, and full-featured MX80 3D Universal Edge Router is ideally suited for enterprise and service provider applications in facilities with limited space and power. MX80 routers are optimized for enterprise WAN, Data Center Interconnect (DCI), branch aggregation, and campus applications. Equipped with two built-in 10GbE ports and two Modular Interface Card (MIC) slots, MX80 routers enable flexible network connectivity. An MS-MIC slot also is available on the MX80 for dedicated services support. MX80 routers enable cost-effective €œpay as you grow€ scale to meet evolving market requirements. Each of the MX Series midrange routers can be upgraded using a software license in a "pay-as-you-grow" model, and are the most compact members of the MX Series product family. Two rack units (2 RU) high and built to support optional redundant power supplies and fans, these platforms are perfectly suited for smaller scale environments requiring full Ethernet capabilities and the advanced services and features of the MX Series routers.
