Honeywell - Dolphin 99EX
The Datalogic Magellan 3450VSi reads both 1D linear codes (including GS1 DataBar) and 2D codes such as QR Code, Data Matrix, Aztec Code, and MaxiCode. It also decodes stacked codes like PDF417 and MicroPDF417, making it versatile for retail and warehouse applications. This broad decoding capability ensures compatibility with most barcode standards you'll encounter in high-volume point-of-sale environments.
Yes, the M3450VSi is specifically designed to handle hard-to-read barcodes, including truncated (shortened), out-of-spec, and poorly printed codes. The imaging technology duplicates the speed and large field-of-view capabilities of laser scanners while expanding imaging capabilities, ensuring reliable reads even in challenging conditions.
The M3450 connects via USB Type A with a 4.5m (15ft) cable included and supports keyboard wedge connection. It also offers multiple interface options including RS-232, IBM 46xx, and OEM USB, providing flexibility for integration into various point-of-sale and warehouse management systems. We offer this scanner with all necessary cables and power brick/cord included.
The M3450VSi operates reliably in temperatures from 0 to 40°C (32 to 104°F) and handles humidity levels from 5 to 95% non-condensing. It can tolerate ambient light conditions up to 86,100 lux and provides 25 kV ESD protection, making it suitable for demanding retail and warehouse environments.
Yes, the Magellan 3450VSi enables both high-speed sweep scanning and presentation scanning techniques, ensuring maximum productivity and ergonomic ease for operators. This dual-mode capability allows flexibility in how items are scanned while maintaining consistent performance across different scanning methods.
The M3450 operates at a maximum of 9.9 watts and nominal consumption of 2.8 watts, with sleep mode drawing only 1.8 watts. It requires AC input of 90-264 VAC at 47-63 Hz, making it energy-efficient for continuous point-of-sale operations. Contact us today to discuss power requirements for your specific deployment.
