The ZC10L is the only large-format, direct-to-card printer that can produce full, edge-to-edge color PVC cards in one printing process. Unlike traditional printers that require pre-printed cards or multiple passes, the ZC10L delivers complete customization at the point of entry, allowing you to print full-card graphics, photos, barcodes, and text without borders in a single pass.
The ZC10L operates as a 300 dpi modified photo printer, delivering exceptional image quality especially for background graphics and photos. This resolution enables you to produce visually compelling cards with photo-quality images, rich colors, and crisp text suitable for professional event badges and passes.
We recommend the ZC10L for hospitality, sporting events, concerts, conferences, and festivals. The large-format design (approximately 3.5 x 5.5 inches) produces oversized badges and passes that are easier to see and read at a distance, increasing security and allowing event staff to identify guests and determine access permissions quickly.
The ZC10L supports single-sided printing for full-color graphics. However, you can customize the backside of cards with guest instructions or "fine-print" content by using Zebra's monochrome black ribbon for a second print pass, giving you flexibility in card design.
The ZC10L comes with Zebra CardStudio 2.0 card design and issuance software (30-day trial included). This software allows you to design beautiful edge-to-edge cards with graphics, text, barcodes, and images, then produce them on demand at the point of entry—enabling last-minute design changes and guest photo personalization.
By printing cards on demand, the ZC10L eliminates the need to pre-order and inventory partially pre-printed cards for various access levels. This reduces waste from unused leftover stock and the risk of running out of specific card designs if attendance changes. We also offer synced ribbon and card kits (400 cards with matching ribbon rolls) that exhaust simultaneously, eliminating leftover mismatched supplies.
