Honeywell Granit XP 1990iXLR Barcode Scanner Model Overview
With Honeywell XLR technology, the Granit™ XP XLR models offer an ideal blend of no-sacrifice near-field scanning plus the ultra-long range to read UPCs at 2 meters (6.6 feet) and 100 mil (2.5 millimeter) rack labels at 24 meters (79 feet), addressing many warehouse, distribution center and manufacturing workflows. With a 3 meters (10 foot) drop, Granit XP is engineered to keep on working after the impact of drops from loading docks, forklifts and picking trucks. An improved 7,000 tumble specification helps to ensure Granit scanners are ready to work long-term in demanding environments.Granit scanners are designed with a small, deeply recessed, scratch- and impact-resistant window to help prevent failures. This is a critical sealing component helping to prevent dust and moisture from entering the case and degrade scanning performance or cause premature failure. The Granit solution includes IP67 rating, protecting the device, even under harsh treatment.Barcodes make data entry faster and more accurate, maximizing productivity in your operations. However, damaged and low-quality barcodes can make transactions slow and painful. Bad labels commonly occur in the warehouse, DC and industrial environments due to low quality printing or damage during handling. Granit XP is built on Honeywell’s next generation imaging platform, integrating a high-resolution sensor and enhanced decoding algorithms to read barcode symbols quickly and accurately. Granit XP helps to ensure that otherwise challenging labels do not create a bottleneck in your process.

Features and Benefits

  • Built to survive harsh treatment including 3 m (10 ft) drops, 7,000 1 m (3.3 ft) tumbles, operating temperatures from -30°C to 50°C (-22°F to 122°F). Granit™ XP helps reduce service costs and increases device uptime.
  • Granit™ XP provides extreme performance scanning, even on damaged and low-quality barcodes.
  • The Honeywell Scanner Management Utility (SMU) creates a holistic solution that automates how you deploy and update the scanners in your environment.
  • The XLR model is ideally suited to far-field scanning operations on 1D and 2D barcodes, plus expanded range scanning of 13 mil UPC up to 2 m (6.6 ft) and 100 mil code 39 to 24 m (79 ft).
  • Honeywell Operational Intelligence software delivers on-demand scan insights, supporting higher employee productivity and throughput.
Honeywell 1990IXLR-3USB-N Barcode Scanner Overview

The Granit XP 1990iXLR is designed to offer premium scanning performance and full range scanning depth to drive efficiency and reliability in mission-critical applications. Its high durability supports low TCO. The new Granit XLR is form-fit for a variety of workflow applications from no-sacrifice near field scanning to extreme long range scanning operations enhancing workflow productivity.

  • The Granit™ XP XLR model is ideally suited to normal, near-field scanning operations on 1D and 2D barcodes, plus maximum range scanning of UPC up to 2 m (6.6 ft) and 100 mil codes up to 24 m (79 ft).
  • Granit™ XP provides premium performance scanning, even on damaged and low-quality barcodes. High-quality barcodes scan and transmit quickly.
  • The XLR model provides superior indoor and outdoor aiming visibility. The brighter, more visible aimer offers more accurate, intuitive aiming across the typical range of lighting conditions. The daylight aiming system offers accurate aiming in bright sunlight.
  • Built to survive harsh treatment including 3 m (10 ft) drops, 7,000 1 m (3.3 ft) tumbles, operating temperatures from -30°C to 50°C (-22°F to 122°F) and IP67 sealing, Granit XLR helps reduce service costs and increases device uptime.

This generation of Granit XP scanners continue to expand capabilities and redefine ultra-rugged scanning. With a 10' drop spec, Granit™ XP is engineered to keep on working after the impact of drops from loading docks, fork trucks, and picking trucks. The 1 m (3.3 foot) tumble test indicates long term durability with daily knocks and drops from workstation or waist height.A best-in-class 7,000 tumble specification helps ensure Granit™ scanners will be ready to work for the long term. And IP67 dust and moisture sealing protect scanning performance under harsh treatment. Granit™ 1990iXLR model begins with no-sacrifice near field scanning and expand to read UPC codes to 2 m (6.6 ft) and 100 mil (2.54mm) rack labels at 24 m (79 ft). Packed with essential reliable aiming features, the XLR laser aimer is visible in multiple lighting conditions. The daylight aiming system offers accurate aiming in bright sunlight with an easy to view green aiming solution.
