iClass R40 6120 readers offer an open architecture design permitting compatibility with many of the most popular cards in the market, which comply with ISO 14443A, 14443B, and 15693 interoperability standards. Regional compatibilities include US Government PIVII (FIPS201), offering one of the most flexibility reader platforms available. The iClass R40 6120 is user-friendly, delivering the same convenience and reliability of our Prox technology, for which HID is known worldwide, with state-of-the-art features, driven by evolving industry requirements. Upgrading from Prox to iCLASS technology has never been so simple. The iClass R40 6120 readers provide the same wiring connections, low-current consumption, and 5 or 12-volt operation as our Prox readers. Additionally, you can transfer your Prox format and user identification numbers to iClass credentials, making the change completely transparent to your access controller.

The pivCLASS® solutions portfolio includes a broad selection of contact, contactless and biometric pivCLASS® Readers for agencies to meet to meet the requirements for any assurance level and the NIST SP 800-116 guidelines. The readers work with the pivCLASS® Authentication Module (PAM) to meet requirements at any assurance level. pivCLASS readers also provide fully functional backward compatibility with existing iCLASS® and HID Prox readers, easing the transition from legacy cards to PKI-based credentials. Up to two pivCLASS readers can connect to a PAM via four-wire RS-485 connections, typically enabling facilities to re-use much of their existing wiring. Key Features:
