Frequently Asked Questions
What wireless standards does the HPE Aruba AP-575 support?
The HPE Aruba 570 Series AP-575 is an 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) access point featuring 2x2:2/4x4:4 dual radio configuration with integrated omni antenna for outdoor deployment. It supports modern wireless standards while maintaining backward compatibility with legacy devices, making it suitable for mixed-device environments in warehouses and logistics facilities.
What are the power requirements and connectivity options for the AP-575?
The AP-575 supports PoE-PD (Power over Ethernet) at 48Vdc nominal with 802.3at/bt Class 4 or higher compliance, eliminating the need for separate power cables. It features dual network ports with 2.5Gbps speed compliant with NBase-T and 802.3bz specifications, plus Link Aggregation (LACP) support for redundancy and increased capacity.
Can the AP-575 operate in outdoor warehouse environments?
Yes, the AP-575 is specifically designed for outdoor deployment and operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +65°C (-40°F to +149°F). Its rugged construction and integrated omni antenna make it ideal for outdoor warehouse, dock, and logistics yard coverage where weather resistance is critical.
What additional wireless technologies does the AP-575 include beyond Wi-Fi?
The AP-575 integrates Bluetooth 5 and 802.15.4 (Zigbee) radios for IoT and asset tracking applications. Bluetooth 5 provides up to 8dBm transmit power with -95dBm receive sensitivity, while Zigbee offers up to 8dBm transmit power with -97dBm receive sensitivity, enabling comprehensive wireless connectivity for logistics operations.
What mounting options are available for the AP-575?
We offer multiple mounting solutions for the AP-575, including the AP-270-MNT-V1, AP-270-MNT-V2, AP-270-MNT-H1, and AP-270-MNT-H2 options to accommodate various installation scenarios. The access point itself weighs 2.5kg (5.6lbs) and measures 24cm (W) x 24cm (D) x 27cm (H), providing flexible deployment across warehouse infrastructure.
Does the AP-575 support energy-efficient operation?
Yes, the AP-575 incorporates 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) technology on both network ports to reduce power consumption during periods of low activity. This feature helps optimize operational costs in large-scale warehouse deployments while maintaining full performance when needed.
