PortServer TS 8-16 from Digi delivers simple, reliable and cost-effective network connectivity for multiple serial devices. RS-232 provides an easy connection to any serial device. The modem emulation allows existing modem-based applications to make connections over IP networks. The incorporated RealPort makes it possible to establish a connection between the host and networked serial device, allowing software applications to work with networked device servers instead of requiring a host adapter. The device also features SNMP management, SSH for creating secure IP network, port buffering and support for Windows and various flavours of UNIX.

The PortServer TS 2 Family delivers simple, reliable and cost-effective network connectivity for multiple serial devices. They easily address the growing need to connect individual devices to the network over industry standard Ethernet in many applications - including retail/point of sale, building control, and medical point-of-care.
