The ET60W features an AI-powered touchscreen that instantly recognizes and adjusts to virtually any method of input, delivering pinpoint accuracy and instant response times even with heavy gloves and in the pouring rain without requiring setting changes. It also includes AI-powered audio that leverages machine and neural network technologies to boost noise identification and suppression, enabling workers to conduct calls in the loudest environments. The dedicated AI engine in Intel's Core Ultra platform efficiently handles heavy AI processing requirements, increasing application speeds up to 70% faster than prior generation processors while decreasing power requirements.

The Heron HD3430 is a 2D area imager that reads both 1D and 2D barcodes with advanced reading technology. It features a Wide VGA imager sensor (752 x 480 pixels) with a maximum resolution of 4 mils, allowing it to capture standard linear codes, 2D codes like Data Matrix, and postal codes. The scanner also includes image capture capabilities in multiple graphic formats including BMP, JPEG, and TIFF.

The ET60W offers all the fastest wireless connections including Wi-Fi 7, 5G 2nd generation Release 16, and private 5G network support including CBRS (North America only). A physical SIM and eSIM enable the tablet to connect to both private and public cellular networks, while Bluetooth 5.4 provides high-speed yet efficient peripheral connections to improve performance and battery cycle times.

The Heron HD3430 offers variable reading ranges depending on barcode type and print quality. For Code 39 (5 mils), the typical depth of field is 3.5 to 20.0 cm (1.3 to 7.8 inches); for EAN-13 (13 mils), it's 3.0 to 40.0 cm (1.2 to 15.7 inches); and for Data Matrix (15 mils), it's 2.0 to 25.0 cm (0.8 to 9.8 inches). Reading ranges are dependent on printing resolution, contrast, and ambient light conditions.

Yes, the optional SE55 1D/2D Advanced Range scan engine with Intellifocus technology can be added to the ET60W to capture barcodes in practically any condition over an extraordinary range—from in hand to the upper shelf of a warehouse rack. This makes the tablet versatile for scanning applications across warehouse and field operations.

The Heron HD3430 supports multiple interface options including USB, RS-232, Keyboard Wedge, and OEM (IBM) connectivity. This multi-interface capability makes it flexible for integration into various point-of-sale and warehouse management systems available from us.

The ET60W includes multiple security layers: facial recognition and an optional fingerprint reader with Windows Hello ensure only authorized users can access the tablet, while a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) secures authentication data. The 5G SIM/eSIM support new required security standards for 5G networks with encryption and private keys required for all network communications, and a privacy shutter prevents unauthorized users from accessing the front camera. Smart Card/Common Access Card (CAC) support is also available to protect sensitive information.

The Heron HD3430 is built to withstand harsh conditions with IP40 particulate and water sealing, 16 kV ESD protection (air discharge), and the ability to withstand repeated drops from 1.5 m (5.0 ft) onto concrete surfaces. It operates reliably in temperatures from 0 to 50°C (32 to 122°F) and handles humidity levels from 5 to 90% non-condensing, making it suitable for warehouse and logistics environments.

The ET60W provides a choice of standard or extended batteries for full shift or multi-shift power, with an intuitive battery door latch design that makes it easy to swap batteries in the field. During a battery swap, the integrated Super Capacitor preserves the state of any open applications so workers can pick up right where they left off without losing data. PowerPrecision+ batteries provide intelligence to spot, locate, and remove unhealthy batteries from the battery pool, and any standard USB-C charge cable can be used to charge the tablet anywhere.

The Heron HD3430 includes multiple good-read feedback mechanisms: polyphonic beepers with adjustable tone and volume, Datalogic's proprietary 'Green Spot' visual feedback, product side and upper illumination, and a Good Read LED indicator. These multi-sensory confirmations ensure operators receive clear feedback during point-of-sale transactions.
